This is the portfolio site of Smijess, or Jessica Smith. I'm a pencil/tablet pen wielding designer who draws on almost everything I can get my hands on.

About Smijess

Hi, my name is Jessica. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator in Windsor Ontario. I love what I do and I want to do it as a living for as long as I can. I have a deep fascination with illustration and hand made objects. I'm always trying new techniques and I love to help out fellow artists. I paint and craft in my spare time, and appreciate the effort that goes into every piece of art. I draw inspiration from every corner of the art world, from tattoo design to European wayfinding signage.

My goals in life as of now are to lock down full time employment working side-by-side or under some real gristled industry vets. I know I still have a lot to learn, good and bad. My dream job is to one day teach a photoshop or illustration class. I love sharing techniques and tips with people who want to learn.

Commissions

Currently I am only offering traditional acrylic paintings on canvas for commission. If you'd like to talk over size and price, I can be reached through my contact form. Currently I have 12x16 and 16x20 canvases on hand, other sizes can be negotiated.
